A response to his blasphemous speech during the Sunday of Orthodoxy
We just celebrated the First Sunday of Lent celebrating Orthodoxy, the great festival of our Church. It celebrates the one who gave birth to all the saints and martyrs, the “one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church”. It celebrates her glorious victory against the heresy of iconoclasm.
The Church is founded on what Christ taught, what the Apostles preached, what the Fathers and Teachers of the oikoumeni interpreted, what the Ecumenical Councils ordained, what our Orthodoxy confesses. And we do not have the right to change even “one iota” as our Christ Himself taught us in the Gospel of Matthew. Father Alexander Schmemann writes in his diary “The Church was founded in this world to celebrate the Eucharist, to save man by restoring his Eucharistic existence. Eucharist is impossible without the Church, that is, without a community that knows its unique character and calling, that is, to be love, truth, faith and mission”. But unfortunately for us here in Canada, the love, faith and truth have been taken away from her mission.
On March 13, 2022, the Archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Church of Canada, during his speech at the end of the Liturgy at the Annunciation of the Theotokos Cathedral, on the feast of Sunday of Orthodoxy, frustratingly did not honour this great day at all! He spoke and boasted about his distorted achievement, bare-headed, to treating the church like a “restaurant with a menu”, so that each “customer” can individually line-up in two different rows and choose between a) multiple spoons, or b) from one common spoon for everyone, the holy Lavida. Choose a chalice of your choice, and get it! Oh what grave sacrilege and blasphemy!
He went on to say that in the 1960s he noticed a “holy” Christian(?) who was the president of a church in Montreal where he was a priest at the time, stating that this man was a regular church goer, but yet never seen him communing. So he asked him why he did not commune, and the man responded that he was disgusted(!) because of the common spoon(!) which everyone’s saliva comes into contact with!! And instead of instructing him, building him, and strengthening him in his faith, he felt that the best possible remedy would be to change the way of offering the Eucharist!! He informed those attending the Church of the Annunciation of the Theotokos that he sent a letter to the Patriarch, before the coronavirus, asking him to change the way of distributing Holy Communion, making reference to the example from the 60s! In other words, instead of pure gold, the Archbishop gave us the rust of heresy.
The Archbishop also stated that the reason he ordered teaspoons and napkins be used for the distribution of Holy Communion was that he had an order from the Government. But he did not tell us why all the other Orthodox Churches (Russians, Serbs, Antiochians, Bulgarians, Romanians, etc.) in the same province and region did not adopt the same innovations. Why didn’t they implement the same changes? We are still waiting for an answer. The real answer is that the Canadian government had never requested what the Archbishop has been using as an excuse for two years now, reinforcing untruths and teaching the error. Indeed the emperor is naked without excuses!
Isaiah tells us, stop offering useless sacrifices, I am disgusted with incense. Celebrations of the New Moon and Sabbaths, invitations to celebratory gatherings, disrespect along with solemn worship I cannot tolerate. I despise your celebrations and your holidays! For me it is a burden, I am bored having to tolerate them. When you raise your hands, I close my eyes not to see you. And when you say your prayers aloud, I do not hear them because your hands are dipped in blood. Bathe and purify yourselves, lest my eyes see your wicked deeds, cease to do evil.(Isaiah 1: 13-17) By faith Moses, when he grew up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. He preferred to suffer with the people of God, rather than enjoy the temporary sinful life.
Who has not more or less read the lives of Saints and heard their synaxaria? And with what admiration we bow down to such impeccable faith, to such sacrificial offering of soul and body, to such strong witness that inspires and makes one wonder how much these people loved our Christ. Where is this man today?, A saint, a living sacrifice, a confessor, willing to be arrested, to be judged, to lose his property, to be thrown in prison, to be abused, to be exiled, to be tortured, to be thrown to the beasts and to suffer all the torment, without seeing any external intervention of God to stop his torment? This Christian firmly believed in God, he saw clearly with the eyes of his faith <the Invisible> he saw the invisible rewards that God has prepared for those who love him. (A. Kantiotis) But this presupposes courage and bravery of soul along with humility of God’s grace and righteous ecclesiastical life.
The good courtier (layman or clergyman) is a curious creature. It used to be in danger of extinction but now it is in abundance. Like the harehead, the poisonous fish that “invaded” from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean, with a deadly neurotoxin that kills. It is not eaten with anything. So is the good courtier, who submits to every order of the boss. He does not know (the boss). It’s enough that he knows the boss’s ordinances. These are for him his masters, who will say a good word about him, who will throw him a shred of freedom, power, recognition or maintenance of what has been rightly or unjustly acquired so far, even a small loss in relation to the majority. Collaborative and submissive in every way. It is difficult to classify as a species. (A. Daskalakis)
If he is a clergyman and especially a bishop, he exchanges God, the Gospel, the Holy Tradition of the Church, with power, with officialdom, with the suspension of tax audits, with publicity, with silver pieces gained from betrayal. He kisses the hands of cardinals, of the pope, he blesses masons, he casts his oath not to offend infidels, he insults the Patriarchal tradition, he persecutes confessing clergy and laity. He considers the Holy Temples his own sanctuary, blocks the entrances, forbids the Holy Mysteries, the worship of icons, and promotes the covering of the face of the image of man. He walks with certainty in the loss. He thinks he has built a career, until at some point someone feels that he is no longer needed. And while the demons surround his bed, he falls asleep and wakes up with the illusion of success. Until the clock of the heart stops providing him with extra minutes of error, sin, condemnation. And so he leaves having surrendered to the curse.
Saint Niphon of Constantia (Cyprus) tells us, “the clergy in the last years will become an instrument of the Antichrist. He will teach blind obedience as a virtue of peace and salvation. A satanic obedience, which will require from the faithful ignorance, contempt for the teaching of the Saints, indifference truth and superficial piety. ” Thousands of times in the past centuries, people thought that the boat of Orthodoxy would sink. But it neither sank nor will sink. Such is the hull and such is the Helmsman that it is impossible to sink. Jesus, in words of love and meekness, said, Judas, with the kiss, which is a sign of love, do you betray your Master? (Luke 22:48) Yes, we are living in a time when some people are taking advantage of and flashing their vestments, thinking that God is on earth. Fortunately, there is still time for repentance, and that is why we pray that He will humble us all in repentance and help us return to the way of the Lord.
St James, called the “Brother of the Lord” urges the faithful to “show me your faith from your works.”(James 2:18) Your words and your deeds Archbishop are for the actors, they successfully close the eyes of the unsuspecting people. Of course you forget that one cannot make fun of the Fair Judge! We do not boast that we are good and we hold the truth. The Truth is in the words of our Lord, the Apostles, the Saints and the Synodal decisions. We are sinners and miserable, but we strive to mobilize in the practical experience of our faith. After all, being orthodox does not seem to be very easy, because the measure of this faith is given to us, not by the people of this world, but by our Saints.

Απάντηση στα λεγόμενα του Αρχιεπισκόπου Καναδά την ημέρα της Ορθοδοξίας
Διανύσαμε την Α´Κυριακή των Νηστειών γιορτάζοντας την Ορθοδοξία, την μεγάλη πανήγυρη της Εκκλησίας μας. Εορτάζει εκείνη που γέννησε όλους τους αγίους και μάρτυρας, η “μία, αγία, καθολική και αποστολικη Εκκλησία”. Πανηγυρίζει την ένδοξη νίκη της εναντίον της αιρέσεως.
Εκκλησία είναι ότι δίδαξε ο Χριστός, οτι κήρυξαν οι απόστολοι, οτι ερμήνευσαν οι πατέρες και διδάσκαλοι της οικουμένης, οτι ώρισαν οι Οικουμενικές Σύνοδοι, οτι ομολογεί η Ορθοδοξία μας. Και δεν έχουμε δικαίωμα να αλλάξουμε ούτε “ένα ιώτα” ‘οπως μας δίδαξε ο ίδιος ο Χριστός μας στο κατα Ματθαίον Ευαγγέλιο. Ο πατήρ Αλέξανδρος Σμέμαν γράφει στο ημερολόγιό του “Η Εκκλησία ιδρύθηκε σ´αυτόν τον κόσμο για να τελεί την Ευχαριστία, να σώζει τον άνθρωπο αποκαθιστώντας την Ευχαριστιριακή του ύπαρξη. Η Ευχαριστία είναι αδύνατη δίχως την Εκκλησία, δίχως δηλαδη μια κοινότητα που να γνωρίζει τον μοναδικό χαρακτήρα και την κλήση της, το να είναι δηλαδή αγάπη, αλήθεια, πίστη και αποστολή.” Αλλα δυστυχώς για εμάς εδω στον Καναδα, μας έχει αφαιρεθεί η αγἀπη, η πίστη και η αλήθεια από την αποστολή της.
Στης 13 Μαρτίου 2022, ο Αρχιεπίσκοπος της Ελληνικής Εκκλησίας του Καναδά, µε τα λεγόµενα του στον Ιερό Ναό της Παναγίας, στην εορτή της Κυριακής της Ορθοδοξίας, δυστυχώς δεν τίµησε καθόλου την µεγάλη αυτή ηµέρα! Μίλησε και καυχήθηκε για το κατόρθωμά του, γυμνή τη κεφαλή, να κάνει την εκκλησία “εστιατόριο με κατάλογο”, που ο κάθε “πελάτης” ατομικά να μπορει να επιλέξει το άλφα ή το βήτα. Ή από αυτή την γραμμή για τα κουταλάκια, ή από την άλλη για την αγία Λαβίδα. Διαλέξτε δισκοπότηρο και πάρτε! Ουαί της βλασφημίας και Θεομπαιξίας!!
Συνέχισε λέγοντας ότι τη δεκαετία το ´60 παρατήρησε έναν “πιστό” χριστιανό(;) ο οποίος ήταν πρόεδρος σε έναν ναό στο Μοντρεαλ οπου εκει ηταν τοτε Ιερέας, οτι ναι μεν ερχόταν στην εκκλησία τακτικά, αλλα ποτέ δεν κοινωνούσε. Τον ρώτησε λοιπόν γιατί δεν κοινωνεί, και αυτός του ειπε οτι σιχαίνεται(!) να μεταλάβει γιατι χρησιμοποιειται η αγία Λαβίδα και την βάζουν όλοι στο στόμα τους!! Και αντι να τον νουθετήσει, οικοδομήσει, και να τον δυναμώσει στην πίστη του, σκέφτηκε ότι ο καλύτερος τρόπος θα ήταν να αλλάξει τον τρόπο μετάδοσης της Θείας Ευχαριστίας!! Ενημέρωσε δε
τους παρευρεθέντες, ότι έστειλε γράμμα στον Πατριάρχη, πριν απο τον κοροναϊό, ζητώντας τον να αλλάξει τον τρόπο μετάδοσης της Θείας Κοινωνίας, προσφέροντας ως παράδειγμα, αυτο της εποχης του ´60!!. Δηλαδή αντί χρυσάφι καθαρό, μας έδωσε την σκουριά της αιρέσεως.
Ο Αρχιεπίσκοπος επίσης ανέφερε ότι ο λόγος που έκανε την πράξη να διατάξει κουταλάκια και χαρτοπετσέτες για την μετάδοση της Θείας Κοινωνίας ήταν ότι είχε διαταγή από την Κυβέρνηση. Αλλα δεν μας είπε, γιατι όλες οι άλλες Ορθόδοξες Εκκλησίες (Ρώσων, Σέρβων, Αντιοχιανών, Βουλγάρων, Ρουμάνων, κτλ.) στην ίδια επαρχία και περιφέρεια δεν έκαναν αυτή την καινοτομία; Γιατί δεν εφάρμοσαν τις ίδιες αλλαγές; Ακόμα περιμένουμε απάντηση. Η πραγματική απάντηση είναι ότι η Καναδική Κυβέρνηση ποτέ δεν υποχρέωσε αυτό που εδώ και δύο χρόνια τώρα χρησιµοποιεί ο Αρχιεπίσκοπος ως δικαιολογία, επιµένοντας και διδάσκοντας την πλάνη. Όντως ο αυτοκράτορας είναι γυµνός!
Ο Ησαΐας μας λέει, πάψτε πια να προσφέρετε ανώφελες θυσίες, μ´αηδιάζει το θυμίαμα. Νουμηνίες και Σάββατα, προσκλήσεις σε εοορταστικές συνάξεις, ασέβειες μαζι με πανηγυρικές λατρείες δεν μπορώ να τ´ανεχθώ. Απεχθάνομαι τις νουμηνίες σας και τις γιορτές σας! Για μένα είναι φορτίο, μου είναι βαρετό να τις ανέχομαι. Οταν υψώνετε τα χέρια σας, κλείνω τα μάτια μου να μη σας βλέπω. Κι όταν απανωτές λέτε τις προσευχές σας, εγώ δεν τις ακούω γιατι τα χέρια σας είναι στο αίμα βουτηγμένα. Λουστείτε κι εξαγνιστείτε, να μη βλέπουν τα μάτια μου τις πονηρές σας πράξεις, πάψτε να κάνετε το κακό. (Ησ.1,13-17) Με την πίστη ο Μωυσής, όταν πιά μεγάλωσε, αρνήθηκε να ονομάζεται γιός της κόρης του Φαραώ. Προτίμησε να υποφέρει μαζί με τον λαό του Θεού, παρά να απολαμβάνει την πρόσκαιρη αμαρτωλή ζωή.
Ποιός δεν έχει διαβάσει λίγο πολύ βίους Αγίων και δεν έχει ακούσει τα συναξάριά τους; Και με τι θαυμασμό υποκλινόμαστε σ´όλη αυτή την πίστη, σ´όλο αυτο το δόσιμο ψυχής και σώματος, σ´όλο αυτό το μαρτυρολόγιο που σε καθηλώνει και σε κάνει να αναρωτιέσαι πόσο πολύ αυτοί οι άνθρωποι αγάπησαν τον Χριστό μας. Πού είναι αυτός ο άνθρωπος, ένας άγιος, ένας υποψήφιος μάρτυρας και ομολογητής, πρόθυμος να συλληφθεί, να δικαστή, να χάσει την περιουσία του, να ριχτή στις φυλακές, να κακοποιθή, να εξοριστή, να βασανιστή, να τον ρίξουν στα θηρία και να υποστή όλο το μαρτύριο, χωρίς να βλέπει καμία εξωτερική επέμβαση του Θεού προς κατάπαυσιν του βασανισμού του; Αυτός ο χριστιανός πίστευε ακράδαντα στον Θεό, έβλεπε καθαρά με τα μάτια της πίστεώς του <τον Αόρατον> έβλεπε τα αθέατα βραβεία που έχει ετοιμάσει ο Θεός γι´αυτούς που τον αγαπούν. (Αυγ. Καντ) Αλλα αυτό προϋποθέτει γενναιότητα και ανδρεία ψυχής μαζί με την ταπείνωση της χάρης του Θεού και ορθή εκκλησιαστική ζωή.
Ο καλός αυλικός (λαϊκός ή κληρικός) είναι ένα αξιοπερίεργο πλάσμα. Παλαιότερα μπορεί να κινδύνευε να εκλείψει μα τώρα είναι σε αφθονία. Σαν τον λαγοκέφαλο, το δηλητηριώδες ψάρι που «εισέβαλε» απ’ την Ερυθρά θάλασσα στη Μεσόγειο, με θανατηφόρα νευροτοξίνη που σκοτώνει. Δεν τρώγεται με τίποτα. Έτσι και ο καλός αυλικός, που υποτάσσεται σε κάθε παράγγελμα του αφεντικού. Δεν το
γνωρίζει (το αφεντικό). Φτάνει που ξέρει τις ορντινάντσες του αφεντικού. Αυτές είναι γι’ αυτόν οι κύριοί του, που θα πουν ένα καλό λόγο γι’ αυτόν, που θα του πετάξουν ένα ξεροκόμματο ελευθερίας, ισχύος, αναγνώρισης ή συντήρησης των μέχρι τώρα δικαίως ή αδίκως αποκτηθέντων, έστω και μιας μικρής απώλειας αυτών σε σχέση με την πλειοψηφία. Κόλακας και υποτελής από κάθε άποψη. Δύσκολα ταξινομείται ως είδος. (Α. Δασκαλάκης)
Εάν είναι κληρικός και δη επίσκοπος, ανταλλάσσει τον Θεό, το Ευαγγέλιο, την Αγία Παράδοση της Εκκλησίας, με εξουσία, με οφίκια, με αναστολή εφοριακών ελέγχων, με προβολή, με αργύρια προδοσίας. Φιλάει χέρια καρδιναλίων, του πάπα, ευλογεί μασόνους, βγάζει εγκόλπια να μην προσβάλλει απίστους, λοιδορεί την Πατερική παράδοση, καταδιώκει ομολογητές κληρικούς και λαϊκούς. Θεωρεί τους Ιερούς Ναούς τσιφλίκι του, αμπαρώνει τις εισόδους, απαγορεύει τα Ιερά Μυστήρια, την προσκύνηση εικόνων, και προωθεί το κάλυμμα του προσώπου της κατ´εικόνας ανθρώπου. Βαδίζει με βεβαιότητα στην απώλεια. Νομίζει πως έχτισε καριέρα, μέχρι κάποια στιγμή κάποιος αισθανθεί ότι δεν τον χρειάζεται πλέον. Κι ενώ οι δαίμονες περικυκλώνουν το κρεβάτι του, αυτός κοιμάται και ξυπνάει με την ψευδαίσθηση της επιτυχίας. Έως ότου το ρολόι της καρδιάς σταματήσει να του παρέχει επιπλέον λεπτά πλάνης, αμαρτίας, καταδίκης. Και έτσι φεύγει παραδομένος στο ανάθεμα.
Ο Άγιος Νήφων Κωνσταντιανής μας λέει, “ο κλήρος στα έσχατα χρόνια θα γίνει όργανο του Αντιχρίστου. Θα διδάσκει την τυφλή υπακοή ως αρετή ειρήνης και σωτηρίας. Μια υπακοή σατανική, που θα απαιτεί από τον πιστό άγνοια, περιφρόνηση της διδασκαλίας των Αγίων, αδιαφορία για την αλήθεια και επιφανειακή ευσέβεια.” Χιλιάδες φορές στους αιώνες που πέρασαν, νόμιζαν οι άνθρωποι ότι το σκάφος της Ορθοδοξίας θα βουλιάξει. Μα ούτε βούλιαξε ούτε και θα βουλιάξει. Είναι τέτοιο το σκαρί και τέτοιος ο Τιμονιέρης που είναι αδύνατον να βουλιάξει. Ο Ιησούς, με λόγια αγάπης και πραότητος είπε “Ιούδα, φιλήματι τον Υιόν του ανθρώπου παραδιδώς;” (Λουκ. 22,48) Ιούδα, με το φιλί, που είναι δείγμα αγάπης, προδίδεις τον Δάσκαλό σου; Ναι, βιώνουμε την εποχή που μερικοί εκμεταλλεύονται το ράσο και νομίζουν ότι ο Θεός είναι στην γη. Ευτυχώς υπάρχει ακόμη καιρός για μετάνοια, και γι´αυτό προσευχόμεθα να μας αξιώσει όλους στην συντριβή και στην επαναστροφή στον δρόμο του Κυρίου.
Ο Άγιος Ιάκωβος ο Αδελφόθεος προτρέπει τους πιστούς “δεῖξον μοι την πίστιν σου έκ τῶν ἔργων σου.” (Ιακ.2,18) Οι λόγοι σας και οι πράξεις σας είναι για το θεαθήναι, με επιτυχία κλείνουν τα μάτια του ακατήχητου λαού. Ξεχνούν βέβαια πως δεν μπορούν να κοροϊδεύουν τον Ένα Δίκαιο Κριτή! Εμείς δεν καυχώμαστε οτι είμαστε καλοί και κρατάμε την αλήθεια. Η Αλήθεια είναι στα λόγια του Κυρίου μας, των Αποστόλων, των Αγίων και στις Συνοδικές αποφάσεις. Αμαρτωλοί και ελεεινοί είμαστε, αλλα αγωνιζόμαστε για να κινητοποιηθούμε στήν έμπρακτη βίωση της πίστεως μας. Τελικά, το να είναι κανείς ορθόδοξος δεν φαίνεται να είναι και πολύ εύκολο, γιατι το μέτρο της πίστεως αυτής μας το δίνουν, οχι οι άνθρωποι του κόσμου τούτου, αλλά οι άγιοί μας.

I’m not doubting you, but I’d like to know where this quote of his is from. Maybe there are other pearls of wisdom to mine.
These men (hierarchs) are not just ignorant, making stupid decisions. They are willful subverts of the true Faith. If we learn anything from the TEC, those targeting Christianity strategize how to pirate control of the hierarchy. Taking decades, they gradually work their way into places of power, and education, then at some point snap the trap. This is what you are seen now. We have seen this dog and pony show before. Fr. Josiah Trehnam (Riverside, CA) has done extensive research on how the LGBT works this out, I have heard him speak on this very subject. His previous teachings have been a portend of things to come for Orthodox hierarchy.
Yet, we must be wise to the nature of our enemy. Evil is always multifaceted (many heads), like Medusa and John’s beasts of Revelation. Its not just LGBT, but its also Free Masonry, and also other things. Free Masonry is heir of Egyptian sorcery with its members sworn to secrecy with oaths upon oaths unto the death, they can be assinated for not keeping it secret . This root of evil was sown in America from the beginning as the Brits were heavy duty into the craft. I am willing to bet, the head man at the OCA, sits on the 33rd degree.
There are three kinds of Bishops: the “Good” the “Bad”, and the “Ugly”. Of course, the Good are those who got it right from the beginning; they refused the masks, never endorsed the shots, and honored the Fathers, the Church, and Christ, by never altering the Liturgy.
The Bad bishops are those like Elpi, the EP and Soterios who obviously are hell–bent (literally) on disemboweling the true Faith. Jesus said you will know them by their fruits. Let me ask you, who in their right mind would ever stand before the Holy Table masked?
As for the “Ugly” bishops, these are those who–due to insufficient inner conviction–, basically followed the “Bad” over the cliff like hapless sheep: monkey see, monkey do. And now they are between a rock and a hard place.
Part of the issue with bishops in general, is that coming from monasteries, often they are men who never did anything in the real world to give them any kind of street-smart. Like career politicians, career hierarchs simply have no clue how to survive anywhere else than the bubble created for them. Without that real life experience, they have ZERO appreciation for those who pay their bills. Case in point: coming from twenty years in the insurance industry as a self-employed business owner, when bishops advocated for the shot, alarms were going in my head like crazy: bottom line: any bishop, priest, or seminary professor who advocates for the shots is liable in any civil suit (as well as morally) for any damage it causes anybody that hears his endorsement. As a “person of trust” this liability is magnified many times over. From my point of view, it all look like a dozen circus clowns all trying to jam into one tiny car. Did they not even check with their lawyers?? I did not know whether to laugh or cry.
At the top, with no contact with the lowly sheep, their focus goes to political entanglements that drag them into the power structures governed by secret societies. Because of their positions and their relative lack of “street-smart” they are easy prey for LGBT and the Masons. Most men join a secret society because of the powerful associations it brings which means success in business. As for bishops, secret societies would bring them into circle of influence, which looks inviting to further the position of the Church; but it cuts both way. We have bishops being leveraged because of their entablements with the wrong people. Some, no doubt, fear for their lives.
Those who are and those who are not are easy to spot. Like Jesus said, “know them by their fruit.”

Is anyone going to sue archdioceses, Ancient Faith Radio, St. Tikhon Seminary, et alia for damages resulting from injections recommended by bishops and the Parker-Nash broadcasts? It is time!

My Parish in Ontario, OCA, adopted the entire ball of wax: Limited # could attend and those who did had to sign in. Masks and distancing were enforced. No touching the icons. And last but not least multiple spoons which get the alcohol bath. From observing via Zoom nothing seems to have changed. It appears this has become a regular part of Holy Liturgy.
It’s a new religion: the Religion of the Mask. It is not going away, mainly because the people cling to it as a talisman.
