It’s Lent, so Orthodox Christians are fasting to prepare ourselves to meet the Risen Lord at Pascha. For the Orthodox, fasting is a voluntary act performed at certain prescribed times of the year as a spiritual discipline. It’s a good thing we have been training ourselves in handling hunger, because living without much food is about to become a mandatory exercise.
Thanks to the War in Ukraine, we are about to experience a catastrophic global food crisis.
Russia is one of the largest producers of fertilizers in the world. Sanctions by the United States, NATO and the European Union will limit Russia’s ability to supply this essential product:
Half the world’s population gets food as a result of fertilisers… and if that’s removed from the field for some crops, [the yield] will drop by 50%,” Svein Tore Holsether, head of agri company Yara International, told the BBC.
“For me, it’s not whether we are moving into a global food crisis – it’s how large the crisis will be,” said Holsether, noting that increasing gas prices were causing a steep rise in the cost of fertiliser.
Russia and Ukraine export around 25% of the world’s wheat and half of its sunflower products, such as seeds and oil. Globally, many countries are dependent on these two producers for their grains. Ukrainian production is cut off by the war, and Russian supply is complicated by sanctions. Two major food producers are offline at the same time lack of fertilizer is going to cut crop yields around the world. And you thought 2020 was a nightmare.
It gets worse, however. Spiking fuel prices also make it more expensive to run farm machinery and to deliver food to hungry consumers. Manufacturing and building will also be affected. Bloomberg just announced that steelmakers across Europe are cutting back their operations as power prices surge to record levels.
“We are going into unexplored territory,” Fabian Rønningen, an analyst at Rystad Energy said to Bloomberg, “The demand destruction could also be on another scale than we have seen previously.”
With steel limited and facing the same punishing energy costs, other industries will doubtlessly cut production as well. Also concerning for industry, Russia and Ukraine lead the global production of metals such as nickel, copper and iron. They are also involved in the export of other essential raw materials such as neon, palladium and platinum. Prices are already high and moving higher. Even if companies want to produce goods, despite the high costs, the raw materials may not even be available to do so.
Expect massive dislocation all along the supply chain. Economies will contract. Workers will be laid off from industries that are already struggling thanks to COVID lockdowns. Many workers, lucky enough to keep their jobs, will be unable to afford the transportation costs to get to them. As always in times of extreme distress, expect crime, drug use, and child abuse to skyrocket
Inflation will run rampant through all sectors of the US economy as three important factors converge. First, the increased costs for fuel and materials mentioned above will have to be priced into the supply chain. Second, the effects will be fully felt of the massive money printing carried out over the past two years to “fight” the economic effects of COVID mitigations. Since January 2020, the United States has printed nearly 80% of all US dollars in existence. In just the past three fiscal years, federal spending has swollen to nearly $7 trillion a year, up from about $4.4 trillion in fiscal year 2019. Biden and the Democrats are partially to blame with their massive deficit spending, but the tsunami of money printing actually started under Trump. All that money will be chasing fewer and fewer goods. Expect the value of the dollar against real goods and services to plummet.
Third, expect de-dollarization to eventually hit the value of the US Dollar hard. Since WWII, the US Dollar has been the preferred medium for international trade. That is rapidly changing as the use of dollars for trade brings with it the very real risk of US sanctions. ING Bank’s chief economist for Russia, Dmitry Dolgin, was quoted as saying:
Any wire transaction that takes place in the world involving US dollars is at some point cleared through a US bank. That means that the US government can tell that bank to freeze certain transactions.
The dollar is a weapon. While Russia is now the most sanctioned country in the world, it is far from alone in the dollar crosshairs. About 10 percent of the countries and 25 percent of the global population are suffering because of US sanctions. Even China fears sanctions. Dollar inflation is also a concern. There are simply too many massive incentives to de-dollarize for it not to become a global trend. Led by Russia and China, countries are doing business with each other in currencies other than the dollar. Central banks are swapping dollars for Gold and other currencies, while disposing of US Treasury debt. Nations are also collaborating on an alternative to the SWIFT system, which is firmly controlled by the US. Lower global demand for US dollars means more expensive and/or non-existent imports for American consumers.
Sure, that can mean something merely inconvenient, such as missing out on a new TV or a new phone. But it can also mean limiting the importation of essential food and medicines.
The result of all these reinforcing calamities will be hundreds of millions of people (or more) around the world facing starvation and poverty. Lower income workers will be unable to heat their homes in Winter. Goods and services once taken for granted, will be out of reach for large segments of the population. The middle class will get poor, and the already impoverished will be reduced to destitution.
You would think, given the stakes, that NATO would be anxious to broker a peace deal. Not at all. NATO keeps providing weapons, military supplies, and just enough hope to keep the Ukrainians fighting a losing battle. Western Media and social media keep publishing and/or inventing pro-Ukrainian propaganda. All the while, Ukrainians die in a hopeless war while their cities are destroyed. The rest of us will be feeling their pain very soon.
Even a Russian victory probably won’t end the war. In the event of a Ukrainian military defeat, the US plans to set up a “government in exile” to serve as the head of a CIA-backed insurgency. Word is that the CIA is following the “models” of past insurgencies in Afghanistan and Syria for its plans in Ukraine. Given that those countries were ravaged by war as a direct result of those insurgencies, this bodes poorly for Ukraine. Given the continued sanctions and loss of cultivated land in Ukraine, the rest of the world may not fare much better.
The only way out of this global disaster is a negotiated settlement that leaves both sides happy enough to stop shooting. If you are not praying for a negotiated peace already – now is a good time to start.
Taking Control of Money to Make Dissent Impossible
If the economic dislocation continues, then one would expect epically large protests. Heck, maybe even a revolution or two. They have ways of dealing with that. Remember the Canadian truckers? A media blackout plus good-old-fashioned forced removal and arrest did the trick there.
The Canadian protests were peaceful. When challenged by police power, protestors dispersed or submitted to arrest. There is no guarantee that a starving and heavily armed American population would be so passive. Fortunately for the powers-that-be, the Canadian government pioneered another, even more effective method of breaking protests than brute force.
Take away the protestors’ access to their own money.
Canadian PM Trudeau invoked Canada’s Emergencies Act, which gave the federal government enormous powers, including the ability to shut down crowdfunding and freeze the bank accounts of freedom convoy supporters without a court order. Donate $50 dollars to the freedom convoy, watch your bank account get frozen. The new regulations were so broad as to encompass the entire financial system. So broad, in fact, that they likely were withdrawn only because Canadians, in a panic, appeared to be pulling their money out of the banks. Tyranny is one thing, but causing the public to lose confidence in the banking system is something else entirely.
Should widespread discontent appear over the deliberate destruction of the global economy, expect these regulations to quickly re-appear in Canada and all other “liberal democracies.” Still, seizing bank assets is not a guaranteed way to crush all dissent long-term. What do you do when people stop using banks? Cash gets around all these regulations. You can keep it on you and spend it on things the government doesn’t like. Cash never has to be put at risk in a bank account. You can withdraw it and hold onto it – before you get into trouble.
So if you really want to eliminate the possibility of dissent, then you have to eliminate cash. Which is where the current push for Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) comes in.
The General Manager of the Bank of International Settlements (BIS), Agustín Carstens, stated in October 2020 that:
“We intend to establish the equivalence with cash and there is a huge difference there, for example in cash we don’t know who is using a 100 dollar bill today … the key difference with the CBDC is that the central bank will have absolute control on the rules and regulations that will determine the use regarding that expression of central bank liability and also we will have the technology to enforce that.”
There won’t be any cash. You will have a digital wallet. If you step out of line, they simply shut off or limit your ability to use it for transactions. Or they limit you to purchasing only essentials such as food.
While this may sound like science fiction, it is very real and totally terrifying.
British activist Maajid Nawaz was on Joe Rogan’s podcast and discussed the concept of CBDC, how it relates to vaccine passports, and how the two together can easily morph into a social credit system like in China.
What did I tell you @JoeRogan? pic.twitter.com/vApbHPodVF https://t.co/7oldtXu1Tc

And, yes, you read that news headline below the video correctly. On March 9th, President Biden signed an executive order instructing agencies to consider creation of a US digital dollar. One way out of the inflationary crisis is to create a new currency that is essentially “revalued”. Digital currency also provides a new level of control in the face of possible dissent.
I am going to pause and repeat something I said frequently in the months prior to the vaccine passport roll out. It is not a conspiracy if they tell you about it. When you have public comments, press releases, press interviews, books – it’s called a plan, not a conspiracy.
The ultimate nightmare is a Chinese-style social credit system, in which the integration of personal data and money through digital ID allows unprecedented levels of control over the lives of people. Even if the advent of digital currency stops short of that level, it still represents a stunning loss of personal privacy and freedom once taken for granted in the “West”. The concentration of power in government and corporate hands will transform our lives in ways we can not even guess at.
The Global Elite rarely wastes a good crisis, so it is logical they would use the coming economic meltdown to usher in not only digital currency, but also the Green New Deal so we can “Build Back Better”. This interest in “using” the Ukraine War could explain why no one in the “West” seems interested in peace. We have already gone from COVID-19 to the War in Ukraine without so much as a pause for breath. It is very clear that crisis is the “new normal”. Or as Orwell said, “War is peace”.
The Mark of the Beast
Here is what the Bible says about the Mark of the Beast:
“16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”
-Revelation 13:16-18
I grew up in an Evangelical Church that was obsessed with Biblical Prophecy. One of our contributors explained what that was like. To be honest, I was never much interested. The whole thing seemed too far-fetched. I have spent most of my life wondering if we had not either misinterpreted much prophecy, or ascribed prophetic value to what were actually historical events.
Either of those objections to prophecy may be true. I’m not an expert in the field. However, I am an expert in finance and technology. As such, I can attest that technology exists, and could be implemented, that would prevent unauthorized buying and selling. The people in charge will know what you buy, where you buy it, and even where you are at all times. If you don’t comply, you will be shut out of the economy. Imagine starving to death in your own home, unable to buy food. Who needs re-education camps? Tyranny is new and improved.
Think you are ready for political and/or religious persecution? Few of us really are. To avoid the penalties the New Financial World Order can levy, most of of us would do anything: swear allegiance to whatever was demanded, deny the Christian faith (and repent later), take whatever drugs are required, turn in our friends and family…
The technological capabilities alone are frightening enough. What is truly horrifying, however, is that the global COVID-19 response just illustrated how governments around the world now move in lockstep with each other. Governments on every continent rolled out the same lockdowns, mask orders, social distancing, and mandatory vaccines. Governments that seemingly had nothing in common all did exactly the same things, with the differences being largely in degree and not in kind.
How is that possible, and how far will such cooperation go?
It may not have been a global government, but it seems close enough to be properly alarming. Especially since all of those things were shown, in short order, to make absolutely no sense. Outside of Sweden and Florida, facts seemed to make no difference in the continuation of ruinous COVID policies.
Rather than reassuring and inspiring their citizens, most governments actively encouraged panic. The British government went so far as to engage behavioral scientists to increase fear levels in order to coerce Brits into complying with lockdowns and other measures. Governments scaring the pants off their citizens to expand their own powers is nothing new. The fact that many of the people in a “crisis” not only believed government lies, but actively defended them, is also not new. However, the sheer scale, sophistication, and extent of the COVID effort is wholly without precedent in human history. Its success sets the stage for the next crisis to almost certainly be infinitely worse.
So forgive me if the whole Mark of the Beast thing is weighing heavily on my mind at the moment.
What to Do
This section will be short, because there isn’t much we can do. The things within our control, however, are vitally important.
- It is Lent. Pray, fast, and repent. The Kingdom of God really is at hand.
- Buy extra food and store it. If you are a priest, encourage your people to do so. Things may not get as bad as we fear. If so, then you have some extra food for later. On the other hand, if you need food and don’t have it…
- Spread awareness as to how crises are being leveraged to change our societies permanently. Don’t focus on the shiny new thing, but be discerning as to what is really happening.
- Do not comply with demands that violate your freedom of conscience.
- Do not encourage others to comply. Contributors to this site have warned everyone for years that complying with COVID protocols would only encourage more repression.
- Do not hate whom they tell you to hate.
- Love all and pray for all in the name of Christ, even if they are being vilified by the government / media complex.
- Ask questions for yourself.
- Do not surrender any more liberty for promises of security. That way leads to slavery.
- Do not let them manipulate Christian language to convince you that surrendering your freedom is essential to helping others.
- Do not be bullied into silence by fellow Christians, regardless of their titles or academic creds.

The Sorting
If you have not noticed, a sorting has been going on. The true Orthodox is being revealed as distinct from the faux-orthodox. Finally, we get to live out the Faith as those of St Paul’s day. Here are some things to consider:
And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you (Gal. 2:4,5).
1. It’s not just faux prophets, faux teachers, or faux bishops we must worry about but also faux brethren. The “old guard” of St Paul’s day craved insider information to “spy out’ the true liberty that denotes true Orthodoxy. In St Paul’s day it was circumcision—something unrelated to the Faith—and now its masks, mandates, multiple spoons, vaccines, or whatever else can be conjured; again things totally unrelated to the Faith. Just like what’s been going on in our nation and the world, evil hates liberty. Of course, true Orthodoxy is not freedom from the Faith and its ethos, but freedom in the Faith. Like the power brokers of Paul’s day, it’s always taking things further than needed for what constitutes communion within the fellowship. When Eve answered the Serpent/devil with “neither shall ye touch it” she was not taking away from the commandment, but adding to it. While some tried to add-to and bring into bondage, St Paul shut it down, “no, NOT even for an hour” not on my watch, did he tolerate false bondages. While things seemed to have loosened at the moment, it’s no guarantee the restrictions won’t return; and perhaps other forms. Obviously, those in the power-brokerage business will always capitalize any crises to consolidate more power for themselves— state of hierarch—and listen to any Judas that has a gripe; Satan is the “accuser of the brethren”.
2. Inherently, the Gospel is two things: Word and Spirit. “For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted…” (2 Cor 11:4). Of course, the “faux gospel” is obvious to the ear, but a false or “another spirit” requires more discernment on our part. Even when the words you hear seem right, the spirit is wrong because there is always an ulterior motive and it just grates on the inner man disturbing the inner peace leaving a sour note.
“Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more” ( Cor. 5:16).
During these times, the question will be “who can I trust?” Any time there is an adding-to, that’s a bad sign, as this is Satan’s tactic; by adding-to, the spirit of the commandment is destroyed because the ulterior motive supplants love for God and the brethren. e.g. Eve’s “neither shall yet touch it.” That’s how apostasy/heresy works.
Inherently, it is fundamental that we “know” each other and all things not “according to the flesh”—what we see and hear—but by what we sense when we commune—deeper fellowship. “Taste and see” the Lord is Good, but others, not so much.
Hayek: “The Road to Serfdom”
Due to strong delusion, here is a list of things impossible to work: 1. Jesus explaining to the Pharasees, their forms of piety will not suffice in the final judgement, and that harlots and tax collectors will go in before them. 2. An Orthodox preist explaining to a Protestant convert, that the remainder of their lives, should consist of a heavy dose of constant repentance. 3. An outsider explaining to cradle Greek Orthodox, that their house is on fire, and that in a few short years, the only “Greek” culture left to speak of will be that of ancient Sparta:
(4): somebody like me, trying to explain to his family, fellow parishioners, fellow Orthodox, that life long repentance must be accompanied by life long body detox, because we all are deliberately being poisoned by those installing the New World Order, not just from shots, but in many other ways as well. “My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.”
Imagine this: two men are playing a very intense game of chess. Without a clock, you could mow the same lawn between moves (ok, hyperbole). One has taken so long, his bladder is about to burst, but he must finish his move. After he makes his move, jumping up to head to the restroom, he inadvertently slams his knee up under the card table. All the pieces go 3 feet into the air–game over right? And each embraces the other with a full-nelson.
From board level, imagine this; a few pieces actually land upright. Would they then not have the run of the board?
Signs of the times: we are not yet finished–not even started in earnest–the phase of “to root out and to pull down, [and] to destroy (Jer. 1:10). But, that has to happen before it is time “to rebuild and to plant”. Every gardener gets it. But for those who make plans for a future, to them a future will be given and they will land upright.
To the Western Rite Wingers, now is the time to stock pile–not money (it may not be worth much), but rather men who can be sent to plant churches. Not many are making plans for evangelism of any kind and if we get anything from the fig tree, its that Christ the Head is looking for figs and not leaves and stems, and He will bend heaven and earth to His will to make room for anybody who will go out and fulfill the Great Commission to whom ever is on the street, no matter where they came from.
Right now, the most productive place to put the bilingual priest is not the Greek Church, Not the Serbian Church, but rather the Hispanic community. Overall the Orthodox, absorbed in our own foreign language and cultures not American have totally ignored the most prolific foreign demographic in America for decades now; immigrants who got here on foot rather than by machine; they literally are our neighbors. And if you have not noticed, the boarder is open and the flood continues. Already, the Hispanics have a much large footprint than the Greeks, Russians, Serbs, Romanians combined. On this trend–should things last–my grandchildren will have to learn Spanish not Greek.
So see, St Tihkon has this thing figured out. When he was planting churches all across America, he was collecting Uniates, forsaken Catholics, as well as Orthodox immigrants. As the ever fruitful opportunist, he knew people well enough to make it work; and one of the things he did was formalize approval for the BCP to plant still further more churches among the American Natives. He was the universal apostle and we have not seen the likes since.
With all of the Spanish language immigrants, any Spanish speaking priest who pays a moment of attention to those who just abandoned familiarity south of here for the American promise of a better life; that’s low hanging fruit right there. We ignore them, and the Great Commission at our own peril. Its not me shaking things up, its God shaking things up and the more we ignore Him the harder it will be. If you are awake, you may be able to land upright and ready for the season to rebuild and to plant. This is where the future is because its where God’s heart is and if we cannot get past our pity party, the final judgement will be fearsome. Because we did not send Orthodox missionaries to Latin countries on the same stretch of dirt, God brought them to us. How about that?
If we enter a deep depression, cash may also be devalued as well as real estate. It may be time to buy silver and gold and store it in a safe place. However, silver and gold are not as easily transferable across borders as jewelry. Diamond jewelry may be another good option depending on your future needs.
While deep depression is a possibility, that’s not what the powers are working toward, but rather at total meltdown of the financial world, to replace it with something they have total control of and, of course, control of you: “without the mark…unable to buy or sell.” Of course, gold is the universal currency, but its not nourishing to the belly if food is rare. Whether they can actually pull it off, we may soon find out.
In the days to come, the most important thing is, who can you trust. If you know a farmer, if you know a carpenter, if you know a mechanic; have things to offer in trade. If you have no hands-on skills your value to a reforming community may be limited. Jacks and Jills of all trades will be in high demand. Make yourself valuable to others.
While I am not a “prepper”, my inclinations follow my skill set and interests: having a generator (duel fuel), extra fuel, rain barrels, and an assorment of junk I can repurpose into a lot of things. As access to the stock market may indeed become impossible, I have been following the suggestion that in a major stoppage, hard-goods are better suited for barter than something in a market out of reach.
BTW: A client of mine who spent a lifetime in law inforcement, private eye, sex crimes investigation and gun expert told me, in many parts of America there are some hidden very well armed militias; talking military grade stuff. From Hitler to Stalin, every take over, means firearms confiscation. When that happens the blood will flow. We pray it never does, but at this point it is a real possibility.
Folks this is for real; the reckoning has arrived. By God’s grace and mercy it is now Great Lent. It’s time to get right with God and do some house cleaning. While COVID/shots was only chapter one for what the globalists have in store, it has been the mechanism to reveal what has been hidden for decades in Orthodoxy.
While there is not much we can do about what is going down in the world at this point, we can attend to what we are responsible for; the Trust bequeathed to us by the Fathers. The only question is, do we have the stomach for the truth. Like society at large, most Orthodox are in denial, clueless as to what is happening.
While we in other jurisdictions look with derision at the GOA hierarchy and the EP for their obvious total betrayal of Christ, the Fathers, and the Church, some (possibly many) of our own hierarchy are no better. Some months ago, a post was published on this site regarding evidence Orthodox hierarchs were practicing “the craft” (Freemasonry). Make no mistake, even those who claim “the craft” (pure sorcery of the Egyptian mode) is incompatible with Orthodoxy, themselves could be practitioners.
As for me, evidence more and more mounts. Like a bloodhound hot on the trail of the fox, the scent leads only—so far—in one direction. And the closer I get to treeing this critter, the more nervous some in power seem to be getting even asking me to relocate to another parish with the like minded. With near certainty, I am confident BB and MT are also practitioners, and most likely a lot of others in that jurisdiction. Here’s why, let’s start with the obvious:
1. Did you notice which hierarchs quickly jumped on board channeling the government mandates? Having priests get the shot and publicize it? Doing infomercials for the vaccine? This is far too contrary to historical Orthodox behavior (and commons sense) of genuine hierarchs. What hierarch, if he was in his right—Orthodox—mind would channel government surrendering the full sovereignty of the Orthodox Church? Even more telling in all of this is those to which they have surrendered the reigns of the Church. Is this not Judas level treason? How can it be anything else? This is an inside job.
2. Have you noticed when a few bishops behave very badly—e.g. pandering to LGBT—from everywhere else we hear nothing but crickets? Or when bishops even go beyond government mandates in enforcing the insanity, it’s even more crickets? Bottom line: the masons never betray a brother, open to the public the secrets of the craft, or admit to their subversion; they are bound unto the death by oaths, many, many, times over. And intimidating enough to force the others into their compliance.
3. And here is a real kicker: I have noticed a behavior of bishop/s employing SPIES to keep tabs on the faithful (have I got a story or what?). Take a look on a dollar bill; that “all seeing eye”, that’s the mode of the Freemasons, they watch everything and everybody without ever exposing their own identity; everything is by stealth and subversion. By necessity, they always get the ignorant to do their dirty work for them, like spying, ratting out their fellow parishioners and even family as well as always making the priests their front men in all the damning directives. Where do you think the Bolsheviks got it from? The Russian Revolution was assembled by practitioners of “the craft”: outsiders who got inside.
4. Because the Masons do everything by remote control, they never get close to anyone; they are the loneliest people on earth.
5. And the icing on the cake: a few years ago, Met. Jonah revealed in an interview something of the bad experience he had as the head of the OCA—a very short tenure. MJ is a man I trust because he gets results, makes converts, plants churches and monasteries, and is close enough to where the rubber really meets the road to do scores of teachings for lowly catechumens in person. The incompatibility of MJ and OCA tells you everything you need to know.
At this point, I would really, really, really like for somebody to prove me wrong. That—if it were possible—would be a great relief. At the same time, if I am right, we all must face the fact that much of our beloved Church leadership has been compromised by the enemy of our salvation and the rest are just flat intimidated by the bullies.
Then again, I AM NOT THE ONE IN CONTROL. If I am wrong, I will only look like a total fool; which I would accept. If I am right, God will back me, because I have expressed something of His current disposition toward His Church. At least one monk has prophesied the total breakdown and rebuilding from the bottom (not everywhere, but here). My extreme grief is for the innocent who put their faith in men who never were worthy—trustworthy—for that honor.
As we watch it burn, know this: only those things not consistent with the Faith will burn; I smell smoke already.
For the practitioners of “the craft”: now would be a great time to repent, but that would mean resigning and going low profile into solitude for healing, getting a real job. Without that, your favorable outcome in the resurrection is very much in doubt. “What can a man give in exchange for his own soul?”
You are not wrong John Lee. You are absolutely right! Four things are needed, especially in times of suffering and danger: Love, discernment, repentance and courage. May God have mercy on us and save us by gracing us with what we truly need.
You understand that this is an agenda. It is not stupidity. It is deliberate and it is evil. It is the one world government gang at work. Their preparations have been long in development. With the introduction of the fake pandemic and all the hysteria I knew the agenda was now unfolding. The final push. Don’t be surprised to see world war 3.
This would be a good time to re-evaluate what is important and to be all in for God’s kingdom because this world is coming to an end. It is going to hurt but the more we try to cling to the world the greater will be the pain.
While I would never claim to know the future and what is in store we have to understand the people in power, they are materialists in love of this world and cling to this life they want to be ‘of this world’ sort to speak. As such while they do want to get ‘rid of us’ because in their eyes given advancing technology we are now no longer required in large masses they do not want to destroy the planet. I think we are entering an age where even more so than before you can only believe your own eyes and of course your heart.
I think we are in that sense already in WW3, this war is not going to be nuclear necessarily but it is waged against our souls with their technology and control grid. And many will suffer and sadly die due to destruction they can bring on us. Only a strong faith can get us through these trials.
