The Orthodox International Relations category explores global affairs through the lens of Orthodox Christian theology, history, and moral teaching. Articles examine war and peace, diplomacy, religious liberty, geopolitics, nationalism, persecution of Christians, international law, and the impact of global conflicts on the Orthodox Church and Christian communities around the world. Drawing on Holy Scripture, the Church Fathers, and the historical witness of the Orthodox Church, this collection provides thoughtful analysis of contemporary international events while emphasizing justice, peace, human dignity, and the sovereignty of God over the nations. Readers will find Orthodox Christian perspectives on foreign policy, humanitarian crises, international organizations, and the moral responsibilities of governments and believers in an increasingly interconnected and conflict-prone world.
